Dear Secretary Marotta,

Attached are questions posed by Friends of Responsible Energy for the public evaluation of the utility alternatives on the UW Madison campus. We believe the answers are essential to both the decision-making process and the need to reassure the public that the Governor and the Department of Administration are not bound by dubious actions taken under previous administrations.

Moreover, we believe that virtually all of our questions would normally have already been posed by responsible decision-makers and their staffs and consultants during the 4+ years of discussions and negotiations on this project. We therefore hope that the answers can be provided in full and without undue difficulty so that the Governor and the DOA will have ample time to weigh the facts and make their final recommendations.
